How to play

The moves it reads.

Squat

Bend your knees and get low until the ball passes. Hold it long enough to clear it.

Stand

Come back up between balls — every one is a full repetition.

Watch the lamps

A machine lights up before it fires, so you know which one is next.

The workout

What Squat Rush works.

Quads, glutes and hamstrings with every squat, and your heart rate from the pace. It is a bodyweight squat workout in disguise.

*For a 35-year-old, 170 cm, 70 kg adult playing continuously. The app uses your own height, weight and age. How it is calculated.

Tips

  • Push your hips back as you squat, like sitting into a chair.
  • Keep your chest up so the camera reads your height clearly.
  • Two machines can fire at once — the lamps tell you.
  • Squat for every ball, even the ones you think will miss.
